1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Guredo.AI application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to the use of digital services). By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.
2. Service Provider & Description
The Service is operated by Guredo AI s.r.o., VAT ID: CZ29532990, registered at Purkyňova 649/127, Medlánky, 612 00 Brno, Czech Republic ("Guredo.AI", "we", "us"). Guredo.AI provides AI-assisted card grading, authentication, and identification services. Users submit images of trading cards for automated analysis. The Service also includes community features such as feeds, posts, comments, polls, marketplace listings, and user-to-user messaging. IMPORTANT: AI-generated grades and authentication results are estimates and predictions only. They do not constitute professional grading, certification, appraisal, or authentication by a licensed professional. Results should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional grading services (e.g., PSA, BGS, CGC).
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Guredo.AI may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will provide you with a clear statement of reasons explaining the decision and the specific grounds for it, as described in Section 9 (Content Moderation & Enforcement). In urgent cases — including but not limited to suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM), imminent threats to safety, or court/authority orders — we may act immediately and provide the statement of reasons without undue delay after the action is taken.
4. User Content & License Grant
"User Content" includes any images, text, messages, comments, poll responses, and other materials you submit through the Service. By submitting User Content, you grant Guredo.AI a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, distribute, and create derivative works from such content for any purpose, including but not limited to: operating and improving the Service, training and improving our AI models and algorithms, research and development, marketing and promotional materials, and aggregated or anonymized data analytics. This license survives termination of your account. You retain ownership of your original content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit the User Content, and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights. Personal Data in User Content: To the extent User Content contains personal data, such data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The content license granted above applies to non-personal data and to personal data only to the extent permitted by applicable data protection law. If you exercise your right to erasure of personal data under GDPR Article 17, we will delete your personal data from active systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, content that has already been anonymized, aggregated, or incorporated into AI training datasets in a form that no longer identifies you is not considered personal data and is not subject to erasure. AI Training: Card images and associated metadata submitted to the Service may be used to train and improve our AI models. Any images you upload to the Service may also be used to extend our reference database of genuine, fake, and graded card images, which underpins and continually improves the accuracy of our grading, authentication, and identification AI, and helps the community of users analyse their own products. Where such data constitutes personal data, we process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the accuracy and quality of our AI services (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You have the right to object to this processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. AI-Powered Features
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act), Guredo.AI provides the following information about the artificial intelligence systems used in the Service. AI Systems in Use: The Service uses the following AI systems, all developed and operated by Guredo.AI: • Card Grading AI — analyzes images of trading cards and assigns a condition grade based on visual characteristics such as centering, corners, edges, and surface quality. • Authentication AI — analyzes card images to assess whether a card appears to be genuine or counterfeit based on visual patterns, printing characteristics, and known indicators of forgery. • Content Moderation AI — automatically scans user-submitted images to detect potentially prohibited content such as explicit material, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and spam. All Outputs Are Automated: The grading, authentication, and identification results you receive are generated entirely by AI systems. They are automated assessments based on image analysis and pattern recognition. They are not reviewed by human experts before being shown to you and do not constitute certified professional opinions. Accuracy and Limitations: AI systems are probabilistic by nature. Results may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or incorrect. Factors that may affect accuracy include image quality, lighting conditions, card condition, and the inherent limitations of the AI models. You should not treat AI-generated results as definitive or rely on them as the sole basis for any financial decision. See Section 6 (Grading & Authentication Disclaimer) for further details. Content Moderation: User-submitted content in the community feed is subject to automated scanning by our Content Moderation AI. This system may flag, restrict, or remove content pending human review. For details on our moderation process, see Section 9 (Content Moderation & Enforcement). No Guarantee of Availability: AI-powered features may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Guredo.AI is not liable for any changes to AI models, algorithms, or the availability of AI-powered features, including changes that may affect the consistency of results over time. Requesting an Explanation: If you have questions about how a specific AI-generated result was reached, you may contact us at [email protected]. We will endeavour to provide a general explanation of the main factors that typically contribute to such outputs, to the extent technically feasible and without disclosing proprietary information about our AI models. Automated Decision-Making and Your Rights: Certain features of the Service involve automated decision-making, including AI-generated grading, authentication, and identification results, as well as automated content moderation. Under GDPR Article 22, you have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you. Content moderation decisions that restrict your account or remove your content are subject to human review as described in Section 9. 6. Grading & Authentication Disclaimer
Guredo.AI makes no warranty or representation and shall have no liability whatsoever to you or any third party for any grade assigned, authentication result, identification, or statement made with respect to any item submitted. Grading and authentication involve subjective judgments. AI-generated results are predictions based on image analysis and should not be considered definitive. You acknowledge and agree that: • Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be accurate. • Results do not constitute financial, investment, insurance, or professional advice. • You should not rely on our results as the sole basis for any transaction, insurance valuation, or financial decision. • A grading result (e.g., a numeric grade such as 8.5 or 10) is an AI-generated estimate of condition and does not guarantee that the item would receive the same grade from any professional grading service. Grades may differ significantly from those assigned by PSA, BGS, CGC, or other grading authorities. • An authentication result of "genuine" or "authentic" does not guarantee that an item is genuine. An authentication result of "counterfeit" or "fake" does not guarantee that an item is counterfeit. An identification result does not guarantee that the card has been correctly identified. • You assume all risk when buying, selling, trading, or insuring items based in whole or in part on results provided by the Service. • Guredo.AI is not responsible for any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on grading, authentication, or identification results, including but not limited to losses from transactions involving items that were incorrectly graded, incorrectly authenticated, or incorrectly identified. • You are solely responsible for independently verifying any result before acting on it. User Content and Marketplace: The marketplace feature allows users to share links to their external listings on third-party platforms (such as eBay or other marketplaces). Guredo.AI does not process payments, facilitate transactions, or act as an intermediary in any sale or purchase. All transactions occur entirely on third-party platforms. Guredo.AI is not a party to any sale, purchase, trade, or agreement between users. Marketplace listings, posts, comments, and other User Content are created by users, not by Guredo.AI. Guredo.AI is not liable for the accuracy of any User Content, the quality or authenticity of any item listed by other users, or any loss arising from interactions or transactions between users. Third-Party Links: The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as eBay, other marketplaces, or external listing URLs). Guredo.AI does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. You access third-party links at your own risk.
7. Prohibited Content
You agree NOT to submit or share any content that: • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene. • Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others. • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance. • Contains non-consensual intimate imagery. • Is defamatory, harassing, abusive, or threatening. • Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or terrorism. • Infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, or other rights. • Contains viruses, malware, or malicious code. • Is spam, automated scraping, or bot-generated content. • Involves counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulently altered items. • Items with non-disclosed alterations, trims, or restoration. • Is otherwise illegal under applicable law, including the laws of the European Union and its Member States. Content that violates these rules may be removed, restricted, or made invisible in accordance with Section 9 (Content Moderation & Enforcement).
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to: • Impersonate any person or entity. • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service. • Use the Service for any illegal purpose. • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service. • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission. • Circumvent any security or access controls. • Submit items you know to be counterfeit for the purpose of obtaining fraudulent authentication. • Abuse the content reporting mechanism by submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith reports.
9. Content Moderation & Enforcement
Guredo.AI enforces these Terms using a combination of automated tools and human review, in a diligent, objective, and proportionate manner with due regard to the rights and legitimate interests of all parties, including your fundamental right to freedom of expression. Automated Moderation: We use automated image scanning technology to detect potentially prohibited content (such as explicit material, CSAM, and spam). Automated tools may flag or restrict content pending human review. Human Review: Our internal moderation team reviews flagged content and reports submitted by users. All significant moderation decisions — including content removal, account warnings, and account suspensions — are made or confirmed by a human reviewer. Enforcement Actions: Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take the following actions: • Issue a warning to the user. • Remove or hide the offending content. • Temporarily suspend the user's account. • Permanently ban the user's account. Statement of Reasons: When we restrict or remove your content, or restrict or suspend your account, we will provide you with a clear and specific statement of reasons that includes: • A description of the restriction applied. • The facts and circumstances on which our decision is based, including whether the action was taken following a user report or on our own initiative. • The specific clause of these Terms or the specific legal ground that was relied upon. • Whether automated means were used in detecting or deciding on the restriction. • Information about how you can contest the decision (see below). Contesting Decisions: If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the decision. We will review your request and respond with our determination. You also retain the right to seek redress through the courts of any EU Member State in which you reside.
10. Reporting Illegal Content
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act), Guredo.AI provides a mechanism for any person or entity to report content they consider to be illegal under applicable law. How to Report: You can report content directly within the app using the "Report" button available on each post, comment, and image. When submitting a report, you should provide: • The specific content you are reporting (the report will automatically include the content identifier). • An explanation of why you consider the content to be illegal, with reference to the applicable law where possible. • Your name and email address (except when reporting child sexual abuse material, where anonymous reporting is permitted). • A confirmation that you believe in good faith that the information in the report is accurate and complete. How We Process Reports: We will acknowledge receipt of your report without undue delay. Reports are processed in a timely, diligent, objective, and non-arbitrary manner. We will inform you of our decision and the reasons for it. If we determine that the reported content constitutes illegal content or violates these Terms, we will take appropriate action as described in Section 9. Criminal Offenses: If we become aware of any content or activity that gives rise to a suspicion of a criminal offense involving a threat to the life or safety of any person, we will promptly inform the competent law enforcement authorities of the relevant EU Member State and provide all available relevant information.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, algorithms, AI models, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Guredo.AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at [email protected] with a description of the alleged infringement. We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.
12. Disclaimers of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Guredo.AI does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any grading, authentication, or identification result. Certain features of the Service may be experimental, in beta, or under active development. Such features are provided without any warranty and may be changed or removed at any time. Guredo.AI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — including specific AI-powered features, community feeds, or marketplace functionality — at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUREDO.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR RELIANCE ON ANY GRADING, AUTHENTICATION, OR IDENTIFICATION RESULT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE OR WHETHER GUREDO.AI WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE — WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY — SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO GUREDO.AI FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) 100 EUR. THIS CAP APPLIES TO ALL CLAIMS IN THE AGGREGATE, NOT PER INCIDENT. Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, or such claim is permanently barred. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU or Member State law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guredo.AI, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to: • Your use of the Service, including any reliance on AI-generated results. • Your User Content, including any claims by third parties that your content infringes their rights. • Any transaction you enter into based in whole or in part on information provided by the Service. • Your violation of these Terms. • Your violation of any applicable law or any third party's rights. • Any fraudulent, counterfeit, or altered items you submit or list on the Service. • Any dispute between you and another user of the Service.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
16. Digital Services Act Compliance
This Section provides information required by Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the Digital Services Act, "DSA"). Service Provider: The Service is provided by Guredo AI s.r.o., VAT ID: CZ29532990, a company incorporated in the Czech Republic, with its registered office at Purkyňova 649/127, Medlánky, 612 00 Brno, Czech Republic. Contact Point for Users: For any questions or requests related to the Service, including content moderation inquiries, you may contact us at [email protected]. We communicate in English and Czech. Contact Point for Authorities: The single point of contact for communications with EU Member State authorities, Digital Services Coordinators, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services is: [email protected]. Languages accepted: English, Czech. Applicable Regulatory Authority: As a provider established in the Czech Republic, Guredo.AI falls under the jurisdiction of the Czech Digital Services Coordinator (Český telekomunikační úřad — Czech Telecommunication Office). Content Moderation Summary: We moderate content using a combination of automated image scanning and human review by our internal team. Our content restrictions are set out in Section 7 (Prohibited Content) and Section 8 (Prohibited Conduct). Our moderation procedures and enforcement actions are described in Section 9 (Content Moderation & Enforcement). All restrictions are applied in a diligent, objective, and proportionate manner. Reporting Illegal Content: Any person may report content they consider illegal using the in-app reporting mechanism described in Section 10 (Reporting Illegal Content). Your Rights: If your content is restricted or your account is affected by a moderation decision, you have the right to receive a statement of reasons (Section 9), to contest the decision by contacting [email protected], and to seek judicial redress before the competent courts. Data Protection: Guredo.AI processes personal data as a data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). We process your account data, submission data, and community activity on the basis of contract performance (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) — this processing is necessary to provide the Service to you. We process data for AI model training on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), as described in Section 4. We process data for content moderation and legal compliance on the basis of legal obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Full details of how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data — including all legal bases for processing, retention periods, international transfers, and your data subject rights — are set out in our Privacy Policy. Data Protection Contact: For all data protection inquiries, requests to exercise your GDPR rights (including access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection), or complaints about data processing, please contact us at [email protected]. Your Data Protection Rights: Under GDPR, you have the right to: • Access your personal data and receive a copy of it. • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data. • Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations. • Restrict processing in certain circumstances. • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. • Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including processing for AI training purposes. • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. For users in the Czech Republic, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.cz). Data Retention: We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce these Terms. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be retained indefinitely. International Transfers: Your data is primarily processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). If any processing occurs outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR Chapter V, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
17. General Provisions
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide you with a higher level of protection, those provisions shall apply. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at [email protected]. If informal resolution fails within 30 days, either party may bring proceedings before the competent courts. For consumers residing in the European Union, the courts of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction in accordance with applicable EU law. Online Dispute Resolution: EU consumers may also submit complaints via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Guredo.AI regarding the Service.
18. Recommender System Transparency
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act), Guredo.AI provides the following information about the recommender systems used in the Service. Community Feed Ordering: The community feed displays posts using one of the following ordering methods, which you can select at any time using the toggle buttons at the top of the feed: • Hot (default) — Posts are ranked using an engagement-based scoring formula that combines the number of likes a post has received (on a logarithmic scale) with the time the post was created. Newer posts with more likes appear higher. The score is calculated deterministically and does not use any personal data, browsing history, or user profiling. All users viewing the same feed with the same ordering see the same results. • New — Posts are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first). No engagement metrics or personal data are used. • On Sale — Posts that include marketplace listings are displayed, ranked using the same engagement-based scoring as the Hot ordering. Language Filtering: You can choose to see posts in all languages or only in your selected language. This setting is controlled by the "Global Content" toggle in your profile settings. When disabled, only posts matching your language preference are shown. This filter is applied on top of the selected ordering method. Comments: Comments on posts are ordered by the number of likes they have received (most liked first), with ties broken by creation time (newest first). Highlights: The highlights section on the dashboard shows one top-scoring post from each active community feed. Selection is based on the same engagement-based scoring as the Hot ordering. No Profiling or Personalization: The Service does not use profiling, behavioral tracking, content-based recommendation, collaborative filtering, or any form of algorithmic personalization based on your individual usage patterns, preferences, or interaction history. The ordering of content is determined solely by the parameters described above (engagement score, creation time, and optional language filter) and is identical for all users viewing the same feed with the same settings. Modifying Recommendations: You can influence the content you see by: • Switching between Hot, New, and On Sale ordering modes. • Selecting a specific community feed (e.g., Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sports Cards). • Enabling or disabling the Global Content setting to filter by language. These options are available directly in the feed interface and take effect immediately.
